2025 marks the 175th Anniversary of St Mark’s Anglican Church!
The foundation stone was laid on 16th July 1850. We have a great opportunity to celebrate God’s faithfulness and proclaim the good news of Jesus this year in Picton.
We hope to do this by gathering stories of the way God has impacted peoples lives through St Mark’s Anglican Church; by compiling and sharing some of these stories publicly; and by coming together to give thanks to God for all that he has done and will do in Picton.
You can contribute your story (or the story of others) via email to [email protected] anytime between now and the end of March. We’d love you to share this opportunity with others so we can spread the net far and wide.
Plan to join us in celebrating this 175th Anniversary in two special services:
- Wednesday 16th July 10am.
- Sunday 20th July 9am.
We will also explore opportunities to gather those who were baptised or married at St Mark’s, or laid to rest loved ones here. If you have other ideas of how to make the most of this important milestone for our Church, please let us know.
