Hi, I’m Jake and I’m so excited to be a part of the Picton and Wilton Anglican ministry team as a ministry apprentice over the next two years (2024-2025). I am married to Ineke, who works as a Registered Nurse, and we live in Picton. During our spare time you can often find us at the beach or enjoying a good cup of coffee.

In response to God’s call for us in the Great Commission, I am choosing to do MTS to gain experience as a ministry worker and further develop the gifts God has given me to share the gospel with others. MTS will help better equip me to serve Picton and Wilton Anglican (PWAC), as well as the broader church. I cannot wait to see how God uses this experience for His glory.

What Is MTS?
Ministry Training Strategy (MTS) works with Christians and churches across the nation to help reach all lives for Jesus. A vision, a strategy and a mindset all in one, MTS is passionate about recruiting and training gospel workers through ministry apprenticeships, for the vital task of gospel ministry.

Prayer
There are a few ways to support me. The first is through prayer. I know I will be needing God to give me wisdom, patience and guidance, especially when I am doing things that I have never done before.

Financially
A second way to support me is financially. I will be needing to fundraise 50% of my salary and I am so grateful for any donation given, whether it is one-off or continual. Please use the bank details on this page if you are able to give.
