This week I want to introduce you to my friend, Arya.
A few years ago Arya gave up his full time time job in business and finance to become a consultant, helping Christians and Churches become better stewards of the resources God has given them. He is a member of St Peter’s Anglican Church in Campbelltown.
Earlier in the year Arya met with our Parish Council to talk about good stewardship at both the Church and personal level. We were impressed and also challenged by his approach. So we’ve invited Arya to preach at Church this coming Sunday, to encourage and challenge all of us in our Financial Faithfulness.
Greed is the most respectable of sins. We look up to the wealthy, and we so often find ourselves building bigger and bigger barns to store our accumulating wealth. This robs us of contentment and hampers our opportunity to serve the Lord.
