Hello! I believe I have a few names from your list in my family tree – Eagles, Baxter, Kennedy, Wonson and Mary Smith. There is one missing though, and it would be an old one, Richard Eagles.
If you need anything please let me know.
Hi Jenny,
Glad you’ve been able to track down a few relatives. We’re in the middle of repairing the cemetery after the flood last year. The details are here: pwac.org.au/st-marks-pioneer-cemetery-storm-recovery/
thanks, Ben
Hi I’m a descendant of Simpson Third ,great nephew, I would like to know if anyone has any information about him.
I vaguely remember his wife Daphne however my father’s side of the family don’t talk about the past and as Simpson died before I was born I have very little information about him.
His wife died around the same time as my father and I don’t recall her passing.
I would like to help in any way I can to the restoration work however as I’m a wheelchair user I’m not sure in what way I can help.
Cheers Eric
Hi Eric, Other than the records listed here: https://pwac.org.au/st-marks-cemetery-restoration-plans/ we don’t have more information. You might try getting in touch with the Picton Historical Society? Thanks for your offer of support and help. Blessings, Ben
Hello Ben
I have only just discovered this site as my wife and I were planning a re-visit. She has a number of ancestors buries there, few of who are on your list.
Elizabeth Eagles d.1888, Richard Eagles d.1844. A number of Lucks.
I have photos of the first 2 which were taken some 10/15 years ago.
There are also some Tildsleys, but not related (at least I haven’t been able to link them).
Cheers
Hi Roger, We look forward to your visit. Perhaps you could come on a Sunday and see the Church in action and take a stroll around the cemetery at the same time. Would be great to meet you. Blessings, Ben
I have volunteered for one of the family tree sites to take photos of graves in my local area (because I ask for photos of graves in Ireland and the UK, just doing my bit).
Is this list complete?
Below is the list of names of graves that I am hoping to get photos of … yet when I compare this list to your one above, about half the names don’t appear.

Hi Lynette, This is the best information we have, but I can’t be sure it is complete.
