camper information.

Thanks so much for getting behind WAY AWAY, you’re all locked in! This email has everything you need to know, so please don’t lose it (flag it, screenshot it, tattoo it on your foot, whatever works). Parents and youth should both see/read this email.

Get ready for WAY AWAY 2026! We’ll be camping out in our massive heated tents for a long weekend of hectic fun, food, bonfires, big games, and proper Bible teaching from 2 Timothy: From Spark to Crown. We’ve got a bunch of stuff planned, plus plenty of unplanned time to just relax and hang out together. It’s four days to slow down, make some memories, eat well, and dig into something that actually lasts.

And yes, we moved it to October on purpose. Last year’s June camp was unforgettable. It was also freezing. So this time we’re camping in spring weather (and in the school holidays). Warm & sunny, but still cosy round the bonfire at night.

One item of luggage per person (keep sleeping bag and pillow separate). Pack the 5 must-brings above, plus:

  • Bible and a pen

4. PHONES AT CAMP About phones… This year, from sunset to sunrise they’ll be collected and safely put away. Evenings and mornings will better without them. Even better, leave your phone at home and bring a camera to capture the weekend and throw a deck of cards or a board game in your bag. You’ll be amazed what you don’t miss by not having it.
